con l’assessore regionale all’economia Marco Falcone dopo quella che si è svolta il 28 giugno scorso. Si attende in queste ore la conferma sulla data in cui tornerà a riunirsi quel tavolo tecnico costituito da Regione, amministrazione e consiglio comunale, parlamentari e associazioni, per fare il punto sulle iniziative che sono state portate avanti con Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, posto che questa sia rimasta nel frattempo la strada maestra e che non ci siano altre novità rispetto al percorso che il governo intende perseguire.
Un intervento di Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, attraverso il Fondo Nazionale del Turismo, che consenta di riqualificare il patrimonio termale per poi assegnarne la gestione a privati. Questo aveva prospettato l’assessore Falcone e in questa direzione era stato annunciato che la Regione avrebbe trasmesso a Cassa Depositi e Prestiti l’ulteriore documentazione richiesta. Adempimento che pare sia stato soddisfatto solo in parte. Mancherebbe la perizia degli immobili per la quale la Regione si sarebbe rivolta al Demanio.
Insomma, bocce ferme o quasi ferme, ma nel frattempo è necessario affrontare due questioni di stretta attualità. Ci riferiamo alla gestione del parco delle Terme a conclusione dei i lavori di riqualificazione effettuati. Sarebbe l’ennesima beffa aver investito 500 mila euro e continuare a tenere chiuso questo polmone verde, un tempo fiore all’occhiello della città di Sciacca. L’altra riguarda l’ex convento San Francesco, anche questa una struttura che negli anni d’oro delle Terme, era diventata location per eventi e convegni. Recentemente è stata riaperta, ma è necessario fare chiarezza sulla gestione della struttura.
L’amministrazione comunale vuole capire la disponibilità del governo regionale posto che le risorse a disposizione del Comune, ha già ridabito il sindaco Fabio Termine, non consentono di chiederne la gestione.
Prima ancora che con il governo regionale, sulle Terme di Sciacca è probabile che si generi un dibattito in consiglio comunale, nel corso della seduta in programma domani sera anche a fronte della recente presa di posizione del Comitato Civico Patrimonio Termale che ha “richiamato” sindaco e presidente di sala Falcone-Borsellino per avere annunciato mesi fa una riunione con i parlamentari, che avrebbe dovuto svolgersi il 18 settembre, mentre invece tutto tace.
Consiglio Comunale che domani sera dovrebbe avviare l’iter sul bilancio con l’esame degli atti propedeutici: il piano delle alienazioni e di valorizzazione dei beni comunali e la rideterminazione delle aree da destinare ad edilizia economica e residenziale.
Il bilancio, intanto, è stato esaminato dai revisori dei conti e trasmesso alla presidenza del Consiglio Comunale per essere calendarizzato dalla competente commissione.
